Joleen Sams

Joleen Sams is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for pediatric healthcare. Joleen graduated summa cum laude from Baker University School of Nursing in 2010. She then spent a decade working in NICU and Pediatric units at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO, and Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, KS. Joleen has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2019 when she graduated from Maryville University with a Master of Science in Nursing. Since then, she has worked in urgent care and leadership positions. Joleen is excited to join the KSP Health team and looks forward to providing care for children through their telehealth platform. She enjoys working with parents to educate them about common pediatric health conditions. Joleen’s personal life is filled with her wonderful husband, three children, two cats, and a dog. The most recent family addition is a tortoise named Bob. Her favorite activities include reading, writing, hiking, and spending time with her family. She currently resides in the KC Metro area.
