Shelby Dozier, APRN

Shelby graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2015. She worked in a pediatric intensive care unit as a RN for 8 years before continuing her education and earning her master's in nursing from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2021 as a dually certified pediatric nurse practitioner in primary and acute care. She is board certified with PNCB as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Acute Care/Primary Care (CPNP-AC/PC). While most of her background is taking care of critically ill children, she also enjoys urgent care visits, well child examinations, and educating patients and families on how to best care for their child through a variety of illnesses. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her two corgis.
