Kate Walden, APRN

Kate graduated from Research College of Nursing in 2008 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked in the Emergency Department for six years before moving to the Intensive Care Unit while returning to school. She graduated with her Master’s degree in Nursing from Walden University in 2016. She is board certified by the AANP as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been working as a Nurse Practitioner in a busy Emergency Department since graduation, treating all types of illnesses, injuries, and mental health crises. She enjoys the ability to care for patients of all ages and different medical conditions. Outside of work she is busy with her three school-aged children and their sports. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her husband, playing with their dog, reading, and working her side businesses in skin care and clean wine.
