Dr. Jakica Tancabelic

Dr. Tancabelic went to medical school at the University of Rijeka Faculty of Medicine in 1980 and completed her residency at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI in 1995. She completed her Pediatric Hematology and Oncology fellowship program through Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons at New York Presbyterian Hospital in 1998. Her clinical interests include anemia, red blood cell and platelet disorders and leukemia. She was the Division Chief through the University of Kansas as Principal Investigator for the Children’s Oncology Group. She has enjoyed working in research for the last several years of her career. Her personal interests include watching movies, reading, spending time with family, and traveling.
